I like the clean look of the site. It works well with the look of the comic. I don’t think it needs too much change at all.

I’ve been fluctuating on whether to say this, but I, too, hate those big nav. buttons. Hate. Them. I also really like how simple your site is… I agree with Capt’n Scratchy about hating to see it overwhelmed. Just my two cents.

As for the design, I’m right with Dan in believing the simplicity of the site works well with the pleasing simplicity of your comic’s style. I too love the header as is. Beyond customizing the navigation buttons, adding content to the sidebars, and adding bonus content (pages) along the menu bar, I don’t think the site needs a whole lot more. Your comic is so perfect, I’d hate to see it overwhelmed by bells and whistles. Just my humble opinion.

Yeah, I don’t like the graphic navigation buttons either but I want to get the navigation out of the blog are and underneath the comic, where it belongs. It’ll change soon enough.

As for the web design, I would *not* like to see anything fancy. No bright colors, no snazzy-looking widgets, etc., since your comic is pleasantly minimalist. In fact, I liked the small-text navigation buttons better than the current CP 2.9 large shiny buttons. Maybe just do small arrows? The header is perfect. At least don’t change that.
