I always fear that my organs are going to go to someone COMPLETELY undeserving. Like, instead of that sweet, little child with jaundice, my liver's going to go to some rich millionaire who couldn't stop swilling the sauce. Or my eyes go to a child porn collector.
You donating organs helps everyone on the list in the long run. It means that all those little kids with jaundice or birth defects have a greater chance of getting the organ(s) they need, so what that some awful people get to live longer? You're improving the odds of living for the deserving as well.
But instead of feeding some mighty, worthwhile animal like a police dog, its fed to mean yappy chihuahuas instead…
