I disagree with panel 2; tall people catch the wind easer. Whereas, the vertically challenged has a wider costume selection when it comes to “dressing up”.
Hey Adam, remember when you did the comic about the bug caught between being skinny and fat? You should do that for us ‘average hight’ people too. I’d love to see what you’d come up with.
Panel #3 is precisely why women who constantly blabber about men being superficial are total hypocrites. All a tall guy needs to get laid is to show up & not say anything really stupid. A little guy needs to have an amazing personality to even be in the running.
Maybe not, but as a short guy I’ve been told on more than one occasion (a lot more) that the woman in which I was interested wanted someone taller than me. I bet that happens rarely, if ever, to a tall guy. I know lots of women with minimum height requirements but not a single one with a max limit.
haha, it’s different for everyone. I didn’t want to date a guy cause just trying to talk to him broke my neck. I was always looking UP! I’m 5′2″ and prefer men well below 5′10″.
This strip and the previous one almost mirror ‘midget ninja’ in a way. Another disadvantage (not very funny) is that tall guys can eat a lot without worrying about gaining weight; whereas short guys do have to worry.
It really has more to do with your metabolism than your height. Have several friends who are much taller, but also much wider than me, despite the fact that I eat twice as much as they do, simply because my metabolism is through the roof.
Flipping between the previous comic and this one, well, they look veeery similar. Almost as if all you did to make them different is slightly changing things…
Hey Adam, why did you put the characters in that order in the last panel? I read it left-to-right like normal and it didn’t make sense. Hey, don’t get me wrong, I love your comic, just wondering if there was a reason for the right-to-left speech balloons.
They’re left-to-right. The bugs have apparently been discussing costume options. The bug on the right has suggested that the other dress up as a jawa, so the bug on the left says, “No, I’m not going as a jawa”, . The one on the right asks then, “So… an ewok then?”
Remember that “Seinfeld” episode in which George (who is a shorty) mentiones that he would love to once date a really tall woman? No? Well, never mind.
(He nevertheless gets his wish granted in the end)
[You might be wondering though what is the point to this, and i can't tell you.]

OR R2D2!
(I am not short, but that would be an excellent way to save face if I was.)
Hehe… we’re too good for the old “Must be this tall to ride” – joke, are we?
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who thought of that.
Yay! a follow-up to yesterdays comic!
Keep it up! series/follow-ups rule!

I noticed today Adam didn’t want to draw hands. Adam keep up the good work. Your comics usually get me up and ready for the day.
So is tall bug breaking wind in the 2nd panel, that definitely could be a disadvantage of being short!!!! Great strips yesterday & today!
Hahaha… strong winds, indeed! Tall guy commenting on the breeziness sure would be callous, though. Also, he looks rather strained with that wink…

…It’s really not that easy.

Solution to panel 2: weights.
Or use the taller people as a wind breaker.
I think that girl bug is my favourite character only because, as Adam has said, she’s a guy bug with a wig…

Of course panel three only applies to poor short-arse male bugs.
Us men aren’t that heightist.
Very true, but in defence of us girls, it’s kinda hard to date a guy shorter than your kid brother. Very. very. creepy.

I’m on to you. >:P
once again this is the first 15 years of my life.
You could always dress up as Tom Cruise…
Funny you should mention Tom Cruise. I came up with this strip (and the previous one) while watching Days of Thunder.

Ditto.
Oh boy, my dyslexia totally dropped the “not” out of the little bug’s sentence all ten or so times I read it until just now. Thanks guys!
don’t worry, you’re not alone there!
