I know what you mean… apparently, being short and tan with black hair while your younger sister is tall, blond and freckled is enough to make you suspicious and get detained by security.And even if you have a highly pronounced Boston accent, are wearing a Red Sox cap and an ancient Jason Veritek tee, they'll refuse to believe you're an American.

GAH. My one major nitpick.

Fries come from BELGIUM. You can't throw a rock there without hitting a fry stand.

The guy who introduced them to the U.S. was probably a Walloon Belgian, there the ones who speak French.
