He doesn't mean 300, he means 300 factorial, or about 3*10^614. To get an idea of how big this number is, if you took every proton and neutron in the milky way galaxy and turned each one into its own milky way galaxy and repeated that process twice more with with all the new galaxies you would still only have about 2.5*10^551 protons and neutrons.
