I need to work on my Ed Harris Technique by re-watching “The Abyss,” but every time I watch it I find myself involuntarily holding my breath for long stretches.
Speaking of video games, I would attempt to imitate Duke Nukem kicking with his mighty boot. Strange enough, my shoes kinda look similar to his mighty boot.
Just a quick shout out. I added Bug RSS to my Google Reader a few months ago and want to congratulate you on providing consistently fun stuff. The bug character is remarkably expressive — well drawn! (and of course, well written). Thanks for all the posts!
Panel 2 reminds me of this show that used to be on tv called “Supermarket Sweep”, and at the end they would have to run through the store and get as much stuff as they could to total the most money. They would get specific things, running around to different parts of the store rather than just running down the aisles pushing stuff in the cart as they went. I understand that $30 Pampers are great, but toss some dish soap or cleaner in the cart as you’re running by it!!
As someone who LOVED The Abyss as a kid (probably watched it like other kids watch their favorite movie over and over again), this comic thoroughly made me laugh hard.
